Equity

We all start our journeys from different locations and face different roadblocks. Equity recognizes that our diverse, lived experiences and identities result in varying degrees of access and opportunities.  It moves away from ‘one size fits all’ approaches towards identifying and meeting unique needs, strengths and priorities in order to work meaningfully together.

Facilitating Change works with you to develop equitable policies and practices as well as enable intersectional collaboration.

 

Inclusion

Every time a community or organization is established, it is enshrined with the values, beliefs, and priorities of its founders. They are embedded in policy, culture and practice. Over time, they become the status quo or “just the way things are.”

Facilitating Change supports your organization’s engagement in ongoing self-assessment and a generative process that responds to diverse perspectives and lived experiences and fosters a sense of belonging. This allows for greater buy-in to organizational goals, productivity, innovation, and wellbeing.
